Griffin Adelmann

Privacy Broker

I'm a privacy broker in New York. I uncover what the internet knows about a person and make it less useful to anyone who may wish them harm. That means removing records where policy permits, burying them where it doesn't, and seeding false details where neither get the job done.

I learned to think like an attacker first. At fourteen I cracked Windows 10 while getting around parental controls and reported the exploit to Microsoft. In high school I broke into my cybersecurity instructor's website, with permission, and somehow ended up at zero points. Those stories are here. They are the reason I explain defense by walking through the attack.

I'm a Founding Partner and Intelligence Specialist at Adelmann Cybersecurity, a small firm that protects private clients. I'm also the CTO and co-founder of Gravitas Technologies.

Private does not mean invisible. It means you decide who sees what.

What I do

Adelmann Cybersecurity: private-client practice. Removing sensitive information, securing accounts and devices, and protective research. More on the work page.
Gravitas Technologies: deterministic workflow infrastructure. Its first product is CampusWay, a browser extension for students. More on the work page.
